Follow on from the new measures that have been put in place by both the UK Government and Scottish Government yesterday. The measures which are now in place for our company while we still operate safely are:

• We are still operating but only using our large 7 and 8 seaters, we can only allow two people (from same family) at anyone time to travel with us as set out by the guidance.
• We have removed our middle seats, which means customers are only permitted to sit in the rear seats to observe social distance guidance, hence why no small 4-seater taxis will be dispatched to you.
• We will only be accepting hires which are essential, e.g. going to and from work, going to collect essential food shopping
• We ask all customers only to make essential travel. However where you have an underlying medical condition which may put you in the higher risk category, we ask that you stay at home and order food on-line etc, we are happy to collect items for you that you have ordered and purchased and deliver them to you.
• We ask that if you have any symptoms you should not book a taxi and should remain at home.  Again, if you require us to pick up items that have been ordered and paid, we can do this. 
• We continue to keep all our cars clean and will clean all hard surfaces after each drop off.
• We will have the right to refuse hires if you display symptoms, or your journey is not essential, e.g. requiring to be drop off at friends’ houses.
• We ask that if you have used our taxi and become infected you contact us quickly.
• If you feel you must seek medical assistance, you must contact NHS by calling 101 or refer to their website.  We cannot drop you at GPs or hospital surgery without you following the NHS guidance.

It is important that we continue to keep drivers and customers safe and we all have a duty of care at this moment in time.  Please remember we do accept payment by card, under £30.00 by contactless or we can send pay by link to your email prior to the journey.

We have in-car card machines, that allows us to process your payment via contactless, apple pay or pin. Where required we have pay by link which allows you the flexibility to pay through our online secure payment service.

We are PCI DSS compliant, this keeps our business and customers’ payments safe and is renewed on annual basis.  It is important to Indy Cabs we provide you with ease of mind when using all methods of payments. We will shorty be adding anew link to show you how the PCI DSS compliant is managed which will also provide more details of the checks.

​We understand that our customers may be concerned about the coronavirus.  It is important to Indy Cabs that we take all necessary precautions during this period and reassure our customers that all our cars are cleaned daily and our interiors have been sterilized by our local valeting service.

Some interesting info (prior to your visit)
The safari park was opened in 1970 but the history of Blair Drummond House goes back to 1715.  It has over 350 animals, many of which roam freely or kept in large enclosures.

Bannockburn Commemoration Public Procession will start at 1pm today which means there will be some difficulties in getting around Stirling. The roads affected are:

Kings Park Road, Polmaise Road, Torbrex Road, Coxithill Road, Cultenhove Road, Barnsdale Road, Newpark Road, Nailer Road and Borestone Place.

The parade starts at kings Park and finishes near the Battle of Bannockburn Visitors Centre. Unfortunately, we may find it difficult to get you from or to these locations during the Parade, as road closures will start prior to the starting time. ​

Just a reminder that the Royal Highland Show is on between 21st - 24th June 2018.  If you are heading to Edinburgh Airport, please allow plenty of time as most of the traffic is diverted through the airport route, there is also a number of temporary traffic lights.  If you do require a taxi please discuss leaving time so no one gets stressed.
